On Tuesday evening, July 12, 2005, The National Speakers Association (NSA) bestowed their highest award, the Council of Peers Award for Excellence (CPAE) on speaker, singer and author Willie Jolley. He is one of five (5) new inductees into the Speakers' Hall of Fame! NSA established the Council of Peers Award for Excellence (CPAE) to honor professional speakers who have reached the top echelon of platform excellence.

Admission into the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame is a lifetime award for speaking excellence and professionalism. Inductees are evaluated by their peers through a rigorous and demanding process. He joins luminaries like Ronald Reagan, Colin Powell, Zig Ziglar and Harvey McKay! Today, there are less than 200 people in the world who have been inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame and less than 100 who hold both the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) and CPAE/Speaker Hall of Fame designation. Willie Jolley is now one of those who hold both designations.

In addition to this award, Willie Jolley was voted "One of the Outstanding Five Speakers In the World" by the 175,000 members of Toastmasters International in 1999. Also, recently, the DC Chapter of the National Speakers Association awarded him the highest honor for Speaking Excellence - The John Jay Daly Award. Mr. Jolley is a past president of the Washington, DC Chapter of NSA. He was the first African American to hold that office. He was elected to the National Speakers Association Board of Directors, where he served for three years.

Mr. Jolley is the host of the syndicated radio program, The Willie Jolley Motivational Minute, which airs on WHUR-FM in Washington and the ABC Rejoice Musical Soulfood Network across America. He also writes a weekly column that is syndicated in newspapers across America. He resides in Washington, DC with his wife and son.
